Diwali first reminds about new dress,sweet and next thing is murukku.I remember my mom's murukku now.
It's is very special to me.
Ingredients
Rice flour-4 cups
Urad flour- 1 cup (Dry roast the urad dal and make it as powder)
Bengal gram-1 cup(Make it as powder without roasting)
Ajwain seeds-2 tbsp
Sesame seeds-2 tbsp
Chilli powder- 4tbsp(optional)
Butter-5 tbp
Method
In big vessel, add all the above ingredients in mentioned order and add salt.Sprinkle some water and make it as a soft dough.In murukku maker,grease it with some oil and dump the prepared dough.Use different patterns to have desired shape murukku.
